Artistic Statement

An innovator.

A mathematician.

A dancer.

 

At heart I am a Christian; it is my purpose to create and impact the lives of others for God’s glory.

 

I am an expressionist, an adventurer, and a problem solver. I am a seeker of greater knowledge. I serve the community through my art and am a deliverer of good news. I am free spirited and always joyful.

 

My work is a mixture of learning how to get from point A to point B, learning how to move an abnormal way in a normal world, and most importantly to understand how emotional, mental, and physical concepts all mold into the one form of dance.

 

This is where I explore my analytical and critical thinking– this is where it all begins.

 

My art is a reflection of my devotion to the Lord; a pouring out of the soul. My art in itself is

a lifestyle, but it is also an experiment. I am not afraid of accepting challenges and sometimes even failing. My art is a masterpiece of how once considered failures become a testament to perseverance.

 

I aspire to make a difference in this broken world– mending the hearts of others whether it be through my movement or math. Both begin with a problem that needs to be solved, a traveling from point A to point B, and by definition are both rigorously precise. 

 

This is who I am; a dancer, a mathematician, and an innovator.
